Saladin, you have a system,

صلاح الدين انت له نظام

1. Saladin, you have a system,
So his glory does not fear fragmentation,

١. صلاح الدين انت له نظام
فما يخشى لعروته انفصَامُ

2. He showed the tradition of God as a reckoning,
So the great innovations appeared through it,

٢. فأظهر سُنة الله احتساباً
فقد ظهرت بها البِدعُ العظام

3. And in the religion of guidance things happened,
Through which the religion felt sadness and gloom,

٣. وفي دين الهدى حدثت امور
بها للدِّين حزن واغتِمام

4. It is fitting to stand up to them ardently,
Funerals for creation in which subsistence,

٤. جديرٌ ان يقام لها ارتماضاً
مآتم للورى فيها التدام

5. And how can sleep delight the eyelids,
And Islam has an eye that does not sleep,

٥. وكيف يلذّ للأجفان نومُ
وللاسلام جفنُ لا ينام

6. And how can life be pleasant in the world,
And its pleasantness does not make the stay pleasant,

٦. وكيف تطيب في الدنيا حياة
وطيبةُ لا يطيبُ بها مُقام

7. In its soil the Messenger of God lies dead,
And its people have no modesty towards him,

٧. بتربتها رسول الله ثاوٍ
وليس لأهلها منه احتشام

8. If they had respected him, they would have feared him one day,
His companions would have had respect with him,

٨. لو احتَرموه هَابوه يَوماً
لكانَ لصحبه معه احترام

9. Are they pleased with their prayers upon him
When his noble companions are cursed?

٩. وهل يَرضى صَلاتهم عَلَيه
اذا سُبت صَحابتُه الكرام

10. They belittled the Mother of the Believers,
And blamed the Truthful and the Farooq,

١٠. بأم المؤمنين قد استهانُوا
وللصّديق والفَاروق ذَاموا

11. After the Prophet they attributed misguidance to them,
Indeed the strayers did not follow the right path,

١١. عَزوا بعد النّبي لهم ضَلالاً
لقد ضَلَّ الغواةُ مااستقاموا

12. And they neglected his Sunnah disdainfully,
So they had no concern for its obligations,

١٢. وسنّته اضاعوها امتهاناً
فما لهم بواجبها اهتمام

13. And none is humiliated among them except whoever
Adheres to carrying its doctrines,

١٣. وليسَ يَذل عندَهم سوى من
له بحميلِ مذهبها ارتسام

14. And they do not respect the covenant of its visitors,
While the dhimmi may be given the pact,

١٤. وما يَرعونَ ذمّةَ زائريه
وللذِّمي قد يُرعى الذّمام

15. And his blessed mosque has become a market,
In which they crowd for frivolity,

١٥. ومسجدُه المباركُ عاد سوقاً
لهم فيها على اللّهو ازدِحام

16. Its muezzins call for prayer in it,
Yet they have no commitment to the imam,

١٦. يعيدُ به الصّلاة مؤذَنوه
وما بأمامهم لهم ائتمام

17. When they stand for it, they stand lazily,
As if they are asleep against their will,

١٧. اذا قَاموا لها قَاموا كسالَى
على كره كأنّهم نِيام

18. They neglect the times of prayer frugally,
So that the prayer lacks organization in it,

١٨. يضيعون المَواقيت اقتَصاداً
ليعدِم للصّلاةِ به انتظام

19. And they deemed permissible its inviolable garden,
So its sanctity made them shed tears,

١٩. وروضَتَه المقدَّسَة استَباحوا
مَهابتها فأدمعها سجَام

20. If they circle it, they play disdainfully,
And they wiped their feet in its soil,

٢٠. اذا حَفوا بها لَعِبوا ازدراءً
وكان لهم بِتربتها انتخِام

21. And they stood up for the greeting with curses in it,
Indeed, that position became evil guidance,

٢١. وقاموا للسّلام وفيه لَعنٌ
لقد سَاءَ الهدى ذاك المَقام

22. And a preacher climbs its pulpit,
Whose sermons in religion are not desirable,

٢٢. ويَرقى فوقَ مِنبره خَطيب
له في الدين خَطبٌ لا يرام

23. He is the judge, and that is enough judgment for you,
With injustice in Sharia he judges,

٢٣. هو القاضي وحَسبك من قَضَاءٍ
له بالجَور في الشّرع احتِكام

24. Lineage to Fatima deludes them,
And they do not have commitment to her sanctity,

٢٤. يغرُهمُ لفاطمة انتِساب
وما لهم بحرمتها التِئَام

25. Does their lineage to her benefit them,
While they deviated from the religion of guidance?

٢٥. وهَل يغني انتِسابهم اليها
وعن دينِ الهدى لهم انصِرَام

26. Nuh's intercession did not benefit his son at all,
Nor did clinging to the mountain avail him,

٢٦. ونوحٌ لابنه لم يغنِ شيئاً
ولا اغناهُ بالجَبل اعتصام

27. May God honor a people through Islam,
For it has no stability except through them,

٢٧. اعزّ الله بالاسلام قَوماً
فليسَ له بغيرِهم قَوام

28. So a faction that blasphemed against them was disgraced,
And snub noses were rubbed in the dust,

٢٨. فذلّت فِرقة طعنت عليهم
وهيلَ على أنوفهم الرّغام

29. How can a people have honor with God,
While the religion of God is violated among them?

٢٩. وكيف يعَزَّ عندَ الله قَومٌ
ودينُ الله بينهم يضَام

30. We stand for prayer while they sit,
And excessive talk is exalted among them during it,

٣٠. نقوم الى الصّلاةِ وهم قعودٌ
ويَعلو عِندَها لهمُ الكّلام

31. With curses the call to prayer falls silent,
And cursing of the companions persists,

٣١. بلعنٍ صمّتَ الآذانُ منه
وسبّ للصحابة يستَدَام

32. And you recite loudly between their hands,
Books that are all shameful lies,

٣٢. وتَقرأ بين ايديهم جِهاراً
تَوالف كلها زُورٌ سَخَام

33. And riffraff come between our hands objectionably,
To cut off our prayers among them the rabble,

٣٣. ويَسعى بينَ أيدينا اعتِراضاً
لقطعِ صَلاتِنا منهمُ طَغَام

34. So neither the congregation knows what to pray,
Nor does the imam know what he has prayed,

٣٤. فلا المَأموم يَدرى ما يُصلّي
ولا يَدري بما صلَى الإمام

35. You see them mocking us disdainfully,
And their resentments are inflamed among them,

٣٥. تَراهم يَسخرون بنا احتِقارا
وللأحقادِ عندَهم احتِدام

36. They believe we are impure and wicked,
So they do not join our side,

٣٦. ويعتَقِدونَنا نَجساً خَبيثاً
فليسَ لهم لجانِبنا انضِمام

37. They see the gathering of the two sisters as permitted,
And the daughter is given what the boy inherits,

٣٧. يرونَ الجَمع للاختَينِ حِلاّ
وتعطَى البِنتُ ما يَرِث الغلام

38. And their assembly is not based on law,
They have gone astray with their falsehood and raved,

٣٨. وما التّجميعُ عندَهم بشَرعٍ
لقد تَاهوا بباطِلِهِم وهَاموا

39. They hold the prayer individually,
They have scattered just as ostriches scatter,

٣٩. يُقيمونَ الصَّلاةَ وهم فُرادى
لقد شردوا كما شرد النّعامُ

40. They have no share of Islam,
Even if they prayed the world away and fasted,

٤٠. وليس لهم من الاسلام حظ
ولو صَلوا مدى الدُّنيا وصَاموا

41. Whoever differs from the predecessors innovatively,
Do the prayer or fasting benefit him?

٤١. ومن قد خالفَ السّلف اتبداعاً
أتنفعه الصّلاة أَو الصِّيام

42. They have deviated from the religion aggressively,
Like arrows that missed their target,

٤٢. لقد مَرقوا من الدَين اعتداء
كما مَرَقت من المرمى السِّهام

43. They have shaykhs from the people of their doctrine,
Who established among their midst and remained,

٤٣. لهم من أهل مذهبهم شيوخٌ
أقاموا بينَ أظهرهم ودَاموا

44. How many fools they have misguided and lured,
Rambunctious fools thrust into misguidance,

٤٤. فكم غمر أضلُّوا واستزلّوا
قحُمّ على الضّلاَل له الحِمام

45. And how many deceived by paying money,
So over ruin he ended up ruined,

٤٥. وكم غرٍ ببذلِ المال غَرُّوا
فكانَ على الحُطَام له انحِطام

46. He kindled in Medina a deviant fire,
That insisted on keep burning,

٤٦. فأضرم بالمدينة نار غيّ
أَبت الا يَزالَ لها اضطرام

47. And brought its people extensive immorality,
So they insisted on attacking immorality,

٤٧. وأوسع أهلها بِراً وُبراً
فكان لَهم على الغيِّ اقتحام

48. They will never achieve success,
Nor guidance, does a predator hope for life?

٤٨. فَما يُرجى لهم أَبداً فَلاح
ولا رشدٌ وهل يُرجى الجَهام

49. They have no path towards good,
For the length of the world, does an arrow fly endlessly?

٤٩. وما لهم الى خيرٍ مضاءٌ
مدى الدّنيا وهل يَمضي الكَهام

50. By your life, they are an incurable disease,
And nothing but the swords will end it,

٥٠. لَعمُرك إنهم داء عُضَالٌ
وما بِسوى الحُسام له انحِسامُ

51. Whoever does not accept God's ruling in law,
His blood is prohibited for his shedder,

٥١. ومن لم يرض حكم الله شرعاً
فما دَمه لَسافِكهِ حَرَام

52. If the flock sinks into its desires,
And its shepherds are not blamed,

٥٢. إِذا انحطَّ الرَّعية في هَواها
ولم تَردَع فراعيها يُلام

53. And if the enemies arise with afflictions,
The first resort is the flashing of the sword,

٥٣. وان نشأت عوارضُ للاعادي
فَبرقُ السّيفِ اول ما يُشامُ

54. Firmly determine for them, O courageous king,
And fight, you courageous one,

٥٤. فأمض الهمّة العليا اليهم
وجَاهِد ايها الملكُ الهُمام

55. The land of the Chosen One, through his two companions,
With victory that has resolute determination,

٥٥. وأرض المُصطفى في صاحبِيه
بنصر لا يفلّ له اعتزام

56. His satisfaction came to you freely, so take advantage of it,
For what you hope, and it is truly worthy of taking hold of,

٥٦. أتاكَ رضاه عفواً فاغتنمه
لما ترجو وحقّ له اغتنام

57. Does any excuse with God accept from you,
While you have the means of avenging His enemies?

٥٧. أَيقبُلُ منك عندَ لله عُذر
ومالك من اعاديه انتقَام

58. And the Hejaz did not achieve reform through you,
While Egypt and Syria achieved it,

٥٨. وما نالَ الحجاز بكم صَلاحاً
وقد نَالته مِصرٌ والشّآم

59. Were it not for awe of their burial places,
The Sacred House would not have been performed pilgrimage,

٥٩. ولولا هَيبةٌ لدفينهم لم
تُحجّ الكعبة البيت الحرام

60. So if you submit the religion of God in it,
Peace unto the world and its inhabitants.

٦٠. فإن اسلمتَ دِين الله فيها
على الدُّنيا وساكنها السّلام
