1. You are truly the caliph of Allah,
Departing from good fortune is the best ascent.

2. You protected the religion from its enemies,
And all who sought corruption in it met destruction.

3. May Allah reveal to you the secret of a people,
Who split the rod through hypocrisy and deceit.

4. They pretensed philosophy and claimed knowledge,
But its master in the hereafter will suffer misery.

5. They scorned Islamic law and rejected it,
Foolishness and stupidity from them.

6. May curses and disgrace be widespread upon them,
And you said farewell to them and crushed them.

7. So remain as a cave for the religion of God,
For as long as you remain, it will endure.
