1. Refrain the mind from a moment of passion
For vision is subservient to sight
١. صنِ العَقلَ عن لحظة في هَوى
فان البصيرةَ طوعُ البَصَر
2. And lower the eyelids with modesty
For the adultery of the eyes is to gaze
٢. وغضنَّ الجفون على عِفةٍ
فإنَّ زناءَ العُيونِ النِّظر
