1. The flags of the House of Guidance appeared to me
In Mecca, and light was shining upon it
١. بدَت لي أَعلامُ بيت الهدى
بمكةَ والنور بادٍ عَليه
2. So I made my passionate longing for it sacred
And I offered my heart to it as a gift
٢. فأحرمت شوقاً له بالهوى
وأهديت قَلبي هَدياً إليه
