1. When the clouds of life pour forth their bounty,
There comes a day that rains upon the lands,

2. Filled with lightning that brightly flashes,
Rolling up the robes of clouds as they spread.

3. The rain pours down as if its drops
Were pearls strewn upon the waters and scattered.

4. I imagined the meadow was illuminated by it,
The land submerged, and the stream overflowing.
