1. I called upon You, O God of Muhammad
My first call being to seek forgiveness

2. To protect me from the evil I fear
Lord of mankind, none can match You as helper

3. You decide without decision against You, rather
My Lord, by Your knowledge You decree fates

4. Where we were, our stations were diverse
And the cycles united us

5. A prison where its people meet their kin in fear
Eternally, while visitors are denied

6. Crowding a water spout as if its pillar
Were a neck sweating under the butcher’s blade
