4. Ajdabiya, has the day of resurrection come

6. The bride of cities, what has afflicted her
In a night that tore her limbs apart?

ุฒููู ุฃูุตุงููุงุ
7. That denied her rest at dawn
And crowned her with clouds of dread?

ุขุตุงูููุงุ
8. The meteors shuddered in the horizon when
They saw in Ajdabiya what horrified them

9. Her homes collapsed with the strikes
And I echoed the howls of their destruction

10. Death did not spare her youths
Nor did death pardon her elders

13. Death did not have mercy on the wearer of bracelets

14. If only the messenger of death
Had been gentle with the child when he took her

16. How much wisdom You have in the universe
That You have locked away from the mind

17. Your tenderness, my Lord, destruction has spread
Across the earth and unleashed its torrents!

ุนูู ุงูุฃุฑุถ ูุงุฌุชุงุญู ููุฒููุงูููุง!
18. The earth cracked open to reveal its jinn
And drove its monsters to mankind

ูุณุงูุชู ุฅูู ุงูุฅูุณ ุฃุบูุงูููุง
19. The sky poured embers over it
Seeking to ignite it
ูกูฉ. ูุตุจููุชู ุนูููุง ุงูุณููู
ุงุกู ุดูุงุธูุง

ู ุงููููุงุฑ ุชุทููุจู ุฅุดุนุงูููุง
20. Ajdabiya woke the conscience of existence
And earned what it earned!

ููุงูู ุงูุนุฑูุจุฉู ู

21. Except in the cause of Arabism, clearly
Straightening its inclinations with art!

22. And a doctor's hand that stanches
The blood of its children, stifling its flows!

23. And money a generous Arab spends
On a family that has lost its money!

ุนูู ุฃุณุฑุฉ ูููุฏูุชู ู

24. So Ajdabiya's people are our brothers
With our souls we redeem those in need
ูขูค. ูุขูู ยซุฃุฌุงุฏูุฑยป ุฅุฎูุงูููุง
ุจุฃุฑูุงุญููุง ููุชุฏูู ุขูููุง
25. Certain of its people in their state
Even if time changes their circumstances
ูขูฅ. ููููู ุจูููุง ุนูู ุญุงูููู
ูุฅูู ุบูููุฑ ุงูุฏูุฑู ุฃุญูุงููุง
26. We shoulder burdens when hardships are imposed
Upon it, you see in it their bearer
ูขูฆ. ููุง ูุงููู ุญููู ุชูููู ุงูุฎุทูุจู

27. Whenever the East is battered by ordeals
How many the likes of which the East has weathered

28. Nations that awoke after the long decline
Mobilizing their heroes for glory

29. Casting off the yoke from their necks
And hurling their shackles into the sea

30. In their hatred of fetters, a girl almost
Smashes her ankle bracelet

31. The nations of the East have sworn
Never to appease those who sought their humiliation

33. How many a nation thought the East
A fertile pasture, only to disappoint its hopes
