1. A cup circulates on thirsty lips
Filled with melted silver so white

2. I came thirsty and kissed its rim
Only to find my image floating on the water

3. I saw it telling of its clay container
Colorful like a chameleon’s hue

4. So I recalled how flowing water
Pours from the breast of every cloud generously

5. Army raging hordes until
It stains the page of the dunes bloody

6. I recalled water as it flows
Deep in the core of rocks across the desert

7. Solidifying, growing in amount
Melting the mute heart of rock

8. I remembered the evening unleashed its gas
Invading the time of the restless she-camel

9. There the train moves powered
Flowing like a smooth serpent

10. I recalled the turbulent ocean wave
Foaming and frothing in times of tempest

11. Where ships sway distressed by its turmoil
Like thoughts confused inside entrails

12. I recalled the horror of the abyss
With mouths wide open to swallow the living

13. Thirsty, while the cool water was before me!
I saw how water hides its might

14. Behind two veils- smoothness and clarity
