A life now lost and scattered to the wind
١. وَدَعاكَ دَعوَةَ مُرهَقٍ فَأَجَبتَهُ
عُمَرٌ وَقَد نَسِيَ الحَياةَ وَضاعا
2. You turned a regiment away from a lad
Whose flesh was nearly torn to shreds
٢. فَرَدَدتَ عادِيَةَ الكَتيبَةِ عَن فَتىً
قَد كادَ يَترُكُ لَحمَهُ أَوزاعا
