1. Let not those who gloat rejoice, for they
Only outlive the departed by nights
١. لا يَفرَحَنَّ الشامِتونَ فَإِنَّما
يَعيشونَ بَعدَ الذاهِبينَ لَيالِيا
2. And think not their time far,
For soon comes all that is to come
٢. وَلا تَحسَبوا الآجالَ مِنهُم بَعيدَةً
فَإِنَّ قَريباً كُلُّ ما كانَ جائِياً
