١. رَأَيتُ أَبا أُمَيَّةَ وَهوَ يَلقى
ذَوي الشَحناءِ بِالقَلبِ الوَدودِ
2. So the worst of Banu Umayya is to the lowly
And the best of Banu Umayya is to the distant
٢. فَشَرُّ بَني أُمَيَّةَ لِلأَداني
وَخَيرُ بَني أُمَيَّةَ لِلبَعيدِ
