The son of hunters, my ancestors being Thaqif.

The home of the lion from the middle of the cliff.

3. And in Kaab and whoever is like Kaab,
I made lawful the gazelle of the lofty mountain.

4. I protected its pride in the valley and plateau,
And that is the epitome of the honor of the noble one.

5. I am the hunter of every prey, not weak,
By carrying the firm spears, and not violent.
