1. I drowned my eyes in tears and perspired
And forgot the meadows, the adorned planet

2. The planet of kindness, wit, and sight
He who loves boredom and is loved

3. A planet, if the sun sees it
It would say my worship of you is more fitting

4. In his smile there is light for the gazelle
And in his cheeks there is glamour for the planets

5. Whenever the guide stared at him, he
Is amused and stares at people with boredom

6. He went away from my court uniquely from people
And from his unique beauty gracefully

7. Alas - how my time has passed
And with the tents, I did not flatter

8. And He whom the wine is loved in
No man rivals Him and gives charity

9. O you who settled in my heart
And my eyes crave your gentle one

10. The lover's chest tightened and the
Passion widened for a mouth on your tents that narrowed

11. Whoever disobeyed you, their disobeyer died
Whoever avoided you is better for hearts and more harmonious

12. Pray stranger who wants from you an attainable
Drink his saliva that leaves the Euphrates tied

13. A lover, that when worries besieged him
And he saw, he said that the besieged

14. Whenever the generous one sings, he
Hopes for his pardon and seeks meeting you with eagerness

15. In gardens in which the wine excelled
And passion excelled and enjoyment flourished

16. Of roses, narcissus, lavender
And bahar, jasmine, and lilies

17. Whenever the morning in it
From your trance, and the tents, and it ruins

18. Whenever God gives it light
Emptying it from the forehead of a knowing luminous mystic

19. The master of the gnostics, pole of the
Religion’s sky, the best of the persevering in the truth

20. A master in piety wrapped and in
Justice relaxed and in chastity belted

21. He stood for God so pulpits and
Pens praise him and people and the truth

22. And the sword of truth was unsheathed so
Wisdom is convened and misguidance perished

23. The word of a lion about others is a metaphor
It is only about him in truth declared

24. People think there are lines in his hands
And they are for generosity overflowing seas

25. None rivals providing for him except the
Angry swords except I was ignorant of who preceded

26. The rain envies his generosity so it calls
With the tongue of thunder your generosity drowned

27. And if he chose to say a
Truthful saying he would say ‘your generosity’s flood flooded’

28. O trustee of knowledge, O bond of the
Religion and grandson of the trusted Тaha, the successful

29. God knows that I, for your
Life, from the pouring rains am more thirsty

30. But I am restricted by things
That have no one to represent me with eagerness

31. Serving the magnificent king and the
Nation that chose me for its rightful service

32. And from its sickness and my need
A flaming inferno that flames and patience torn

33. And may God one day bestow upon your
Servant what he loves and craves

34. So it treats the crack in my essence caused
By kissing your palm and rises

35. I did not stop making the permanence of your goodness a
Holy House, all who orbited it succeed

36. Pilgrims of your praise come to it
And upon it my praises hang
