1. I swear by Allah I do not satirize
The Turks though I am ordered to do so

2. Your modesty crowns his rose garden
With camphor though it thinks his glance bewitched

3. And I swear if I break my oath after
Swearing and gaining what I desired

4. I die but not spend the night happily
On the breasts of the gazelle overjoyed

5. So believe the one who tomorrow is like
A cat truthful and famous for honesty

6. And has become a boon companion
Who loves wine and maidens

7. Whenever he is between them
And cups intoxicated

8. It benefits them with their shine
Dirhams and dinars

9. So be generous with thousands of gold
And overflow with good immersed

10. For a hundred are not enough
For one who did not doubt distressed
