1. Neither endless sorrow nor affliction depart
One who does not lament the martyr of Karbala

2. If our eyes do not weep, then in the inner self
There are hearts shattered, their lamentation concealed

3. So upon the martyr and his family, the contented folk
From me is the greeting, perfected and completed
