1. The servants of God lament for you, O my support!
The wailing of a mother weeping for her son.

2. For you are the one whom no human blamed,
And no one in this life reaped benefits from another.

3. If I were to ask, who satisfied all people?
The people would say, John Abu Hamad.

4. He who spread the praises of the Creator
Throughout the universe like the spirit spreads in the body.

5. When his Creator called him to Paradise,
He rewarded him with endless bliss.

6. I released my love to the Paradise of bliss, my love,
And he won a great, everlasting, eternal victory.
