1. No wonder Damascus has become a paradise,
And winning supremely resides in it.

2. For God has returned its healer to it,
And chosen him as its ruler and sage.

3. So honor him as a ruler when you meet him,
I have not met anyone as faultless as him.

4. An administrator who has pushed away injustice,
And adorned the oppressed with integrity.

5. His swords have subdued worries completely,
And led the obtainer of joy safely.

6. So the state of affairs began to shout, release!
