1. Blessed is he who gave the minister wisdom
That made the lion's fangs slide off the brave man's neck,

2. And granted him the kindness which, if he let flow
Upon a dead man's tomb, would make the corpse arise and walk,

3. And gave him knowledge none but he did ever gain.
Such is God's grace bestowed on whom He will.
