Heard the sound of a hunter
١. غَزالٌ مِنْ بَني العاصِ
أَحَسَّ بِصَوتِ قَنَّاصِ
2. So he turned his neck in fright
And stared intensely
٢. فَأَقلعَ جيْدهُ ذُعراً
وأَشخَصَ أَيَّ إِشخاصِ
3. O you whom my soul has sincerely loved
With utter devotion
٣. أيا مَن أخلصَتْ نَفسي
هواهُ كلَّ إخلاصِ
4. Obey you from the depths of my heart
With forgiveness for all transgressors
٤. أطاعكَ مِن صميمِ القل
بِ عَفْواً كل مُعتاصِ
