1. Behold the palace of the Caliph so white and fair,
A radiant beauty, blooming without compare,

2. Adorned with stars, their secrets it would share,
As if they'd listen raptly to all it would declare.

3. The white flower on earth in splendor is arrayed,
The red one in the sky lends it celestial shade.

4. Each limb and every joint feel such love portrayed,
If sight could feel, enraptured it would have stayed.

5. A sight which when night dons its darkening attire,
Dawn sheds its light, brilliant rays transpire,

6. Rising up loftily, beyond any describer,
The more they describe it, the more it is entire.

7. The palace in sun resembles morning’s light,
See if you find any difference in your sight.

8. Among its gardens bright, the lily glistens bright,
In spring's bloom, it glimmers an enchanting sight.

9. Adorned in Yemeni and gilded costume alike,
The breeze presents it scent - musk and amber strike.

10. Its walls are of whitest hue, columns yellow and bright,
With gemstone windows, each a resplendent sight.

11. Ameenullah and his faithful son in leisure bask,
In a paradise on earth, tranquil and blissful task,

12. Imam of guidance, may you stay in knowledge deep,
While I eternally sing your praise as I ask.
