4. The loyal heart is never far from the professor,
Whether settled in Egypt or roaming.

5. The learned of East and West take pride in him.
Pyramids and ruins long for him.

6. He has ruled the eras of knowledge, undisputed,
For you are the foremost imam in this world.

7. In this age, you are the most eloquent poet,
The most literary being writing and blind.

8. You see the Nile as a sea, its pearls covering
Its sweet water for friends, bitter for foes.

9. For companions you possess charm, kindness and loyalty.
For enemies, you have formidable force and rigor.

10. I am no flatterer, nor sycophant,
But your qualities compel me to compose.

11. If I were camped in the furthest land,
My poetry would find you, filled with affection.

12. You are unique and revered in every place,
Honored in every country.

13. I convey some of the longing in my heart,
And you understand my passion most keenly.

14. In every art, you know most and best,
Remaining lofty and content for eternity.

15. The seasons in you are always celebrations,
Gladdening each passing year and time.
