1. If some poetry is not sound
Take from the soul's discourse what is useful

2. For the soul is a secret that none could comprehend
Except one guided to unbind constraints

3. As if it ascends aloft on a gust of wind
Paired with eternity's breath

4. Its argument is hidden from the seer's eye by density
Of transient matters with barriers

5. He of sense must dispel what obscures
Around him of the realm of confusion

6. So he shuts his eye to the sights of a world
That the heedless frolic in by imitation

7. And closes his ear to the talk of greed
Injustice, delusion and grudge

8. Thus he sees the futilities of life and its frivolity
Like a drunkard's nightmare with brute wine

9. The world is unveiled to him in the image
Of its idol, greed without bounds

10. And he sees the most perfect guidance is in retreat
With his soul that grants him all joy

11. He does not stop until he communes with his soul in bliss
In stances not of the familiar

12. Until he communes with his soul in bliss
Above that which he attained with great effort

13. As if his precious soul disrobed
Describing the purity of refined essence

14. Thus in its intimacy he saw wonders he never imagined
As vivid as the witnessed reality

15. And obtained pleasures that came from the choicest
Thoughts free of turbidity and complexity

16. As if her intimacy is to him water that became
Commingled with the muskiness of grapes

17. No delight in the universe that equals it even if
Its actions are not paired with presence

18. Rather if doubt in its existence crept in him
Doubt is refuted by the argument of verification

19. Can witness of the unfelt equal before judgment
Witness of the unreal?

20. As if it is a star at the edge of the ether
That called you disturbed with splendid words

21. If you do not sincerely deny I exist
In the universe you negate my existence

22. And for the magnificent things that would not have occurred
Had the soul not spoken of them in my endeavor
