1. What is wrong, O Isaa, with the maidens that
They turn away from me and the wall blocks their view
2. I used to be the doorman of open doors
But now I see double when I try to look
3. So I see two people where there is but one
And one seems like two, since my sight was blessed
4. I used to walk steadily on two feet
But now I walk as if on wooden legs
5. I used to stand up easily in my clothes
But now I rise like a drunken fool
