١. إِذا صَبغ البيضَ العِضابَ دَمُ العِدا
فَدَمعي لِخَدّي في نَعيكَ أَصبَغُ
2. As if you were pure in the seven recitations
And a torrent in poetry and a master in jurisprudence
٢. كَأَنَّكَ في السَبعِ القِراءاتِ طاهِر
وَفي الشِعرِ غَيلان وَفي الفِقهِ أَصبَغُ
