amazed by the beauty of its attributes,
١. قُلتُ لِبَدرِ التمِّ لمّا بَدا
مُعتَجِباً مِن حُسنِ أَوصافهِ
2. If you want to steal some of its beauty,
Oh full moon, come near it or match it.
٢. إِن شِئتَ أَن تَسرِقَ مِن حُسنِهِ
فَلذ بِهِ يا بَدرُ أَو صافهِ
