1. The earth inclined again with passion
And intimacy flowed through the hills and barren lands

2. So every breeze conveyed a lament
And a yearning from a devoted worshipper

3. In the murmur of dawns a longing of an ardent lover
Meaning in starry nights

4. And for it is love, more wondrous than birds in the forest
And more tempting even to the hearts of lions

5. Songs of passion echo in the valleys
And plains, hills and barren lands

6. Among the warblings of a content nightingale
And the complaints of a lovelorn bulbul

7. And the swaying of a leafy branch
And the whispers of blossoming flowers

8. This is the melody of spring, awakening
From slumber and stillness

9. So the ample radiance from every side
Spreads on the laden branches

10. Sprouting color where it falls
For hues are rays from its outstretched thread

11. And here is Adam observing, perplexed
The flow of forces and the birth of existence
