8. Both thunder and lightning, long and short
Are two ropes contracting and extending for us

9. The earth lays out leaves on the bosom of the earth

10. The wind sends out fragrant breaths
Like the scent of roses mixed in rosewater

11. As if they are breaths of the musk deer
No doubt or error in them

12. By God, if the breezes were like it
No one in the world would despair or lose hope

13. Time opened for us its prideful radiance
An era without weakness or downfall

The kingdoms were adorned by his rule and authority

15. He has made the stars his humble dwelling
No scheme ever aimed so high

16. An imam of justice who fulfilled in every way
As they decreed for the just imam and stipulated

17. He surpassed the past and the novice
Like a necklace's central bead outshines those on its edges

18. Not boastful because of the wealth he amasses
Nor covetous of worldly things while content

19. But the opposite of what the envious presumed of him
And beyond what any pompous boaster imagined

20. He could provide the rain of sustenance to the lands combined
With the surplus of his restrained coffers

21. A face connected to the celestial fount
A lineage linked to the essence of absolute glory

22. A sun from the Truth, its horizons filled,
No injustice or deviation finds its way there

23. In its lairs it terrifies the lions
A sword forged by the right hand of victory

24. Umayyah was thwarted in its aims against him
As the comb is frustrated by the bald manโ€™s pate

25. In their anger they tried to pluck stars
From the trajectories of those lofty lights

ูƒูˆุงูƒุจุงู‹ ุนู† ู…ุฑุงู…ูŠ ุดุฃูˆูู‡ูŽุง ุดูŽุญูŽุทูˆุง

26. The Criterion has separated you
As pleasure is separate from anger

27. People other than you are downtrodden
While you are where the crown and earrings reside

28. Nor do I complain of your affection for me
For you are dearer to my heart than its own pulsing

29. O best of Arabs and non-Arabs
And the Family of Ahmad, whether they brandish swords or ink

30. May triumph befall you; not that I heard of it
Nor on what God wills do I place conditions

31. But I am hopeful, for destiny is supreme
And God expands hopes so they spread

32. I ask only for something that has reached
The Imam's request when the elite strove

33. Above the dusky steed none can surpass its limit
A star detached from the solar horizon

34. Mounted by a rider whose paths are straitened
Wandering in the desolate darkness, his mantle torn

35. Verily when kings are compared to you together
You are an ocean, and they are but drops
