1. O nameless one when named
The one endowed with beauty and blindness
١. يا سَمِيَّ المَجهولِ حينَ يُسَمّى
وَالَّذي خُصَّ بِالجَمالِ وَعُمّا
2. The one whose waist is bent with sprouts
So it almost broke its bow
٢. وَالَّذي هَمَّ خَصرُهُ بِاِنبِتاتٍ
فَثَناهُ الحَشا فَكادَ وَلَمّا
3. I do not forget what he secretly told me
The best love is the hidden love
٣. لَستُ أَنسى مَقالَهُ لِيَ سِرّاً
أَحسَنُ الحُبِّ ما يَكونُ مُعَمّى
4. May God preserve his true passion for me
And save me from his obsessive love
٤. حَفِظَ اللَهُ لي صَحيحَ هَواهُ
وَكَفاني مِن حُبِّهِ ما أَهَمّا
