1. The affairs of polytheism ended in the worst outcome,
And settled down after much turmoil and wailing.

4. So Azerbaijan has become arrogant after it
Had been a lesson and example of destruction and suffering.

5. It intoxicated us and alerted us to its intoxication
Due to its blossoming and beauty all around it.

6. Neither did the gloom of a jobless person continue
Until time joined it in the same state.

7. You saved it from his plot as if
It had been tied down by reason and intellect.

8. A breach of days extended its paws
And it gave him gifts without asking.

9. The mighty feared the lowly because of it and
The springs of Nejd bowed down to the lost.

10. The wild beasts were frightened of it to the point
That the chapter of heroes was rendered futile before it.

11. If he did not make them give allegiance they would have given allegiance,
Due to what was in their breasts of burdens.

12. A sea of hated things, its billows overflowed,
And it certainly appeared weak and failing from the eddies.

13. The gentle blessings dried up because of it and
The lamp of guidance in it was extinguished without a wick.

14. And it permitted the blades of swords against every fighter
Whose blood had not been shed since childhood.

15. Nothing in the world was long-lasting except sorrow
Until the sword summoned it to travel.

16. I saw that its killing did not kill except
Those who remained of the youth.

17. If the Antichrist were to witness some of its deeds
The tear of the one-eyed Antichrist would flow.

18. The Commander of the Faithful gave his swords
Both contentment and authority to kill.

19. Certain that its killing would erase
Whatever mistakes and oversights there were.

20. Like the prayer, if it is established it corrects
Whatever deeds preceded it from all acts.

21. So he threw at him the virtuous with the star that
Split the darkness, split the worn-out cloak.

22. He met him with the burning spearhead with his affliction,
When he saw that he did not regain consciousness after being wrapped.

23. O day you shone, you were the death shroud
For the vile one, the fated one of death.

24. They rolled up their sleeves in an hour

Like beauty - white hair for one passionately in love.

33. So he escaped, and if they had found him they would have left him
On the ground with severed limbs.

34. He escaped from Mauqan while its army
Had a righteous father and a family dependent on him.

35. How many letters would have suckled him if the spear
Had left suckling him without further merit.

36. Alas - his spirit was frightened by horsemen
In war, without disclosure or milestones.

37. They made the spear the stairways for the stupid, those
With filth, roughness, and meanness.

38. So those have become in the morning whilst their drinking
Makes them regret the cups of bad state.

39. No oppression ever became prolonged
Except that its darkness outlived ages without end.

40. And by the plateaus of Abarshtauim and Darauz
It was pollinated with the pollen of victory after despair.

41. A day in which time shone and
Tongues opened the flower of hopes in it.

42. If not for the darkness and scarcity they attached themselves to
Their necks would have remained without necklaces.

43. So let them thank the wing of darkness and Darauz
For they are loyal to Darauz and the darkness.

44. And they were elated at nightfall which drove them away
By a knocking with no slenderness or pretentiousness.

45. Patience taught nightfall the meaning of patience in a gentle way,
Patience in it is above the guardian.

46. That terror was not altogether in his view,
Along with his resolve, except fantasies.

47. And the evening of that rise which gave life to guidance
Has noble, magnificent origins.

48. The angels of heaven descended upon them
When the Muslims flocked to the descent.

49. No person wore his finery until
The time of decline eradicated their bliss by declining.

50. Their buried shortcomings appeared because of it, and
Trespassing the beauty spoils the beautiful.

51. It is as if his soul schemed against him
Since the tricks of the schemer did not reach him.

52. So shame on the one who destroys ruins!
He is food for the hands of time from the gluttons.

53. Squadrons that made him an example
Defeated him on Thursday.

54. It erased him with an erasure from ivory parchments that
No erasure of conditions relieved him.

55. A garden of patience and victory enveloped
Its plains without any east or west winds blowing.

56. The poisons of Mashrifeh pierced his middle
With love and they were void of shade.

57. How many sharp, angry swords have burdened
The burden of a lad from them with commotion.

58. Old age had outrun him until it tested him,
And the effeminacy of parting and separation disgraced him.

59. It was noble in the midst of death and lonely in and of itself
The in-laws and paternal uncles’ disgrace.

60. He suffered the life of a dog except that
He died of patience with the death of beasts of prey.

61. Every wicked has built it, after hope
The treacheries of time have fulfilled after [being] long.

62. Its beauty waded through the fears of traitorous
Water of youth and beauty without turbidity.

63. They were quick to tighten the waistband and sometimes
They were accustomed to walking without rushing.

64. They exchanged days of humiliation for chastity
And torn tents for the torn remainder.

65. And the son of the traitorous wife escaped, if he escaped,
With the swooning of giddiness and exhaustion.

66. He left the loved ones unharmed, not forgetful,
The excuse of the forgetful is contrary to the excuse of the safe.

67. His virility that the spear stripped from formidable
The obedient gifted him with a fitting mood.

68. Indeed when the spears are planted in a witnessing place
The most high gather fruit in its branches.

69. When Ramadan fulfilled its duty toward him
The days carried him in Shawwal.

70. He did not cease to be bound, departing,
Until morning found him in chains and shackles,

71. Seeking permission for heroism, a collar of blood,
When the monstrosity of the anklets became clear.

72. There was no escape until all the fugitives fled
And every course moved and roamed.

73. And slaughter is more fitting for perversion, and not healed
From it like the throat after prolonged emaciation.

74. He met the neck at the secret of the one who envisaged
That her vision testified to his death truthfully.

75. His means were cut off when he threw
With a glance between the elephant and the lead horses.

76. He gifted the succulent body their succulent bodies, thus
He who refrains from the brown of the sweet honey maker.

77. Not every this succulent lower than a succulent place from him
While he is loftier than every succulent place.

78. Elevated as if honor pulls its limb
And his loftiness from meagerness and lowness.

79. Always preoccupied and not without occupation
Is he who has no way to distractions.

80. So surrender the Commander of the Faithful to a nation
That habituation replaced with inability.

81. Through you, Islam became full after what
Its cheerfulness was erased with erasure of the crescent.

82. You completed from it after deficiency whatever
The hands of disbelief diminished after perfection.

83. You clothed it with your pleasant days that
The days of others with them are nights.

84. And resolves steadfast in fright
Blessed in retreat and advance.

85. So the deep thoughts of ministers float above it
Like the floating of motes and the pursuits of blamers.

86. And the sword, if polish is not wound around it,
Does not benefit from burning.
