1. You are perhaps remembering the ancient ruins
And keeping promises according to customs

2. And describing a she-camel leaving behind the skilled

3. And you wished the House of God farewell

Complaining of the feeble, sick soul

12. Your morning made the two burdens lighter
And the most faithful of people in origin

13. What do you complain of while you are under
Muhammad the full moon of the stars

14. When did a noble Haajara shade you
Her fingers scent you with the breeze

15. And if darkness covered you, the light
Of his face dispelled the night's gloom
