1. O Bani Humaid, Allah has favored you
By leaving Aṣram for you, bringing you joy

2. By leaving a father for you who cherishes you
Who has supported you in battle and brought you glory

3. So take him as your master for that reason
Let people know him as one who has honored you

4. If he had been with you on the day of Babak for you
You would not have lost your master in the encounter

5. Allah has given you out of His mercy
Aṣram, a gift from Him to test you

6. Come, thank Allah, the Majestic - for He
Has been gracious to you through Aṣram's deeds

7. You still have a king among your people for you
Who mends your faults and guides you
