3. Like a shimmering mirage in description,
Though not so deceptive in nature.

4. A reed shaking as the winds gust,
At their fierce, unbridled command.

5. Quaking as if it were time itself,
Or a gazelle spooked midst the panic.

6. Clinging to what follows, one would think
It part of the swaying body and ribs.

7. It chases away the scorching day, though
In its heat, it rivals the day of farewells.

8. A robe of the gentlest, most splendid chest,
Of heart’s expanse and arm’s reach.

9. I shall garb you in what pardons
All praise, like the cool of crafted mail.

10. The beauty of your eyes, and this,
The beauty of hearts and ears.
