1. If I had associated others with Allah, would He have punished me
More than that I hope for Your forgiveness?
١. هَلِ اللَهُ لَو أَشرَكتُ كانَ مُعَذِّبي
بِأَكثَرَ مِن أَنّي لِجاهِكَ آمِلُ
2. Come and wonder at the most alert of all people
Whose means in all he attempts are inadequate
٢. هَلِمّوا اِعجَبوا مِن أَنبَهِ الناسِ كُلِّهِم
ذَريعَتُهُ فيما يُحاوِلُ خامِلُ
3. Would a man be satisfied with inadequacy in his means
When all his actions are directed to the means?
٣. أَيَرضى بِضَعفٍ في وَسائِلِهِ اِمرُؤٌ
لَهُ حَرَكاتٌ كُلُّهُنَّ وَسائِلُ
