1. None who hope in God should complain of fate's blows.
All things emerge by leave of Him, as everyone knows.

2. Say to whoever has swerved from the path of what's right:
"Do not complain of your woes; wait hopefully for light

3. From God the Comforter of every woeful soul."
Put your hope in the Master; be confident and whole.

4. Take mediation, but do not rashly play the fool.
Strive and range widely, for reaching any goal

5. Calls for wisdom, patience, sharpness, self-control.
Let your time pass nicely from now to then.

6. If your endeavor fails, do not blame it on men;
Rather say, "From God," but remain on your guard.

7. If bitterness holds you, renew your purpose hard.
Do not grow stubborn when anguish grips you tight.

8. Stubbornness is near infidelity outright.
Let not woes make you forget that death will come.

9. Maybe total loss will be your eventual sum.
Ready your soul; this world was never your home.

10. Your body's soil, not steel, was its raw material.
You are only water and clay in the end.
