1. The world has been honored by you, for you are its prince
And by your name have its houses and journeys become

The histories, however new, cannot transcend their lines about you

3. It is enough glory for you that pride raises
Domes of honor over you - you are its illuminator

4. The well-being of this era, rather you are its spirit
And its protector is the Merciful, and the heart is its wall

5. So there is no need except for you, its need is to you
And no aid except you are its supporter

6. O you planet in the East that shone radiantly
And its light remains in the West, illuminating it

7. Congratulations to Germany, for with you
It rose above the peaks of honor, diminishing its contemptible ones

8. Difficulties become easy to it, even if they appear
As calamities - with your thought, you solve even the insoluble

9. So what praise did your attributes not encompass
And the pages of news became too narrow for your attributes?

10. Attributes that evaded limitation even if some were cast
Reconsider them - their fragrances diffuse

11. Upon which land did dread of you not fall
And from the outpouring of the sea of wisdom appears its joy?

12. The heroes learned courage from you
If war's tumult ever roared with its clamor

13. So you smile at the cubs if their playing becomes serious
And their mothers' snarling delights you

14. You arrange the army of victory with the decisiveness of your opinion
And your white banner rises above its eagles

15. And you smash the era's horn with your resolute strike
Making the world surge, but you protect it

16. A youth who undertook war except it emptied it
Like the Hour of Resurrection when it blows its trumpet

17. And in his heart is a ferocity of fear of his Master
Whose ferocity in the universe fans its blaze

18. I wondered which ships had visited our country
And which steeds of horses had honored their backs

19. And your ambition mounts none but a peak
Of glory rising above the celestial sphere's light

20. You came to the Levant, my Master, when it became
Lands with their Master honoring his ambassador

21. He is the lofty, mighty king, your ally
The King of mankind, its formidable one dangerous to oppose

22. You came to the country that Allah ennobled
And that sublime guest is its peer

23. So what a fine guest with the best host
And in the best land where its flowers appeared

24. And none but you, my Master, plucks its fruits
Not in this era does one guide its fragrance but you

25. And when you stayed in Damascus, it greeted you
And opened its doors and palaces for you

26. Joy and bliss descended upon your abode
And the eye was comforted - your felicity is its light

27. So we congratulate you, my Master. I congratulate a journey
Whose safety the angels bring, and my Lord guards it

28. And the voice of congratulations wherever you went, exclaiming
"Praise be to Allah!" "Long live its Planner!"

29. And the echoes of cool praise with eulogy exclaiming
