1. I offer greetings to the best of mankind
One who was guided to peace, his guidance led him

2. He seeks satisfaction through acceptable means
His good tidings have succeeded through his hands

3. For God has promised the Prophet that
He will reward tenfold all who greet him

4. Honor him with good deeds, make clear his way
He brings life to the trustee of sacred law, indeed gave him life

5. So may the Lord of the Throne reward him the best of rewards
With his purified peace for his fiery one
