1. Pray upon the best of creation, whose abode
Was loftier than the one who obtained the pride, intact

2. Pray upon the one who honored with his existence
The environs of Mecca, Zamzam and the Hillock

3. Pray upon the highest of Quraish in rank
With his offspring, the elevated were sheltered in encampment

4. Pray upon the light whose dawn shone
Dispelling the darkness of misguidance, wild

5. Pray upon the guide who showed us his guidance
A straight path of the pure religion, upright

6. Pray upon this Prophet, for he
Was always kind towards the believers

7. Pray upon the generous, benevolent Mohammed
None like him among the messengers, so giving

8. He who attained all virtues, so they came to be
Arranged in order in his character, with wisdom

9. Who was braver than Usama in strife
And in amity, relates life's tales, vividly

10. Of cheerful mien, shy in nature
Amid amiability, exceeding in reverence

11. Every wise one judged him to possess virtue
As the Book of Revelation, wise, came with

12. And proofs of his truthfulness appeared
Splitting the darkness of night for its split

13. The sun stood still for him when it saw
A beautiful visage of the Prophet, well-formed

14. How many a sign spoke, verifying Ahmed
Even inanimate objects answered him speaking

15. The palm trunk moaned, moaning of ardent love
Becoming for pangs of separation, a languishing companion

16. Exalted are the virtues of the Seal of Messengers
With light concluded and guidance, consummate

17. And stations above the heavens were marked for him
With the vision of truth, he saw, steady

18. For him is the banner of praise, uncontested
For him is the intercession, when he becomes the Addressee

19. We hope for him on the Day of Judgment, and only
For his Grand Station, Grand

20. We have no means but love for him
And a greeting that recalls fragrance and scent

21. And for the best guidance a man offered his Prophet
I hope to offer abundant prayers and peace

22. O you who hope for his intercession
Pray upon him and submit fully in peace
