1. Conclude with the mention of Muhammad, for his mention
Purifies like the scent of musk sealing wax, and makes fragrant

2. And string together necklaces praising him, for their composition
Is pearls upon the neck of praises, well-arranged

3. And inscribe your parchment sheets with his attributes
For through him do gazers become elegant and graceful

4. And know that the book praising Ahmed
Is light with horizons of guidance shining

5. And beg the Merciful for His sincere love
For through His love did the guided ones win the race

6. And send him a greeting, with which
A riding company moves out of yearning, or embraces

7. And join in prayer upon him, for it is a means
By which the foliage of happiness, through his prayer, grows green
