1. Long has been my indifference to the family of Zainab

3. Our covenant with them is strong, while my covenant with them
Is of weak strength, ruined

4. She looked one day towards us
A look whose return was a glance

5. Then she said to a procession whose steps
The gardens obeyed

6. We will fulfill our promise to the youth and inform
Him of what the saddened hearts conceal

7. And inform him of what we incorporated
When the day cleared for the saddened departure

8. And he had indeed in the past followed Allah
