1. O you who dye gray hair, give it up, for you only shroud it in a winding sheet.
Do you not see that ever since you cast eyes upon it, it increases on the head as the body wastes away?
١. يا خاضِبَ الشَيبَة نُح فَقدَها
فَإِنَّما تُدرِجُها في كَفَن
٢. أَما تَراها مُنذُ عايَنتَها
تَزيدُ في الرَأسِ بِنَقصِ البَدَن
