1. I thought of wealth and of hoarding it
Yet what remains is the ephemeral

2. While what I spent for good causes and charity
With kindness and benevolence

3. That is what remains, and I will be rewarded for it
On the Day when all humans are recompensed

4. But counting and mentioning wealth frequently
Is a corruption of proper conduct

5. So if you gain wealth, spread it around
And if you gain it, conceal it with forgetfulness
