1. Time does not remain still
But it comes and goes
١. الدَهرُ لا يَبقى عَلى حالِهِ
لَكِنَّهُ يُقبِلُ أَو يُدبِرُ
2. If it comes across to you with its misfortunes
Then be patient, for time will not be patient
٢. فَإِن تَلَقّاكَ بِمَكروهِهِ
فَاِصبِر فَإِنَّ الدَهرَ لا يَصبِرُ
