1. We drank while the stars were forgiving
Passing like the skies had cracked
١. شَرِبنا وَالنُجومُ مُغَفَّراتٌ
تَمُرُّ كَما تَصَدَّعَتِ الزُحوفُ
2. And the Pleiades leaned in to hear
The faint splash of the bucket lowered gently
٢. وَقَد أَصغَت إِلى الغَربِ الثُرَيّا
دُنُوَّ الدَلوِ يَسلِمُها الضَعيفُ
