١. وَالعيدُ زَيَّنَ لِلعُيونِ هِلالَهُ
فَرَمَقنَ مِنهُ حاجِباً مَقرونا
2. The star appears and appears above its brow
As though the wings of night drip dewdrops there
٢. يَبدو وَيَبدو النَجمُ فَوقَ جَبينِهِ
وَكَأَنَّ جُنَحَ اللَيلِ يَنقُطُ نونا
