1. If words contradict actions, then they
Are, by my life, naught - useless, futile.
١. إذا خالف القولُ الفِعالَ فإنه
لعمري هباءٌ لا يُفيدُ ولا يجدي
2. So no welcome to him whose love is proclaimed
Yet his deeds belie all his words have conveyed.
٢. فلا مرحباً بالخل يُبدي ليَ الهوى
وأفعالهُ تُومي إلى غيرِ ما يُبدي
