1. We supported Allah's Messenger against his enemies' wrath,
With a thousand riders whose number cannot be counted.

2. We carried for him the standard's pole amidst the spears,
With it he charged through death's tumult aided by his supporters.

3. We dyed it with blood, so blood became its color,
The day after Hunayn when weapons clashed with Safwan.

4. We were the right wing of Islam reinforcing it,
And we held the standard’s tie-rope and raised it high.

5. We were his inner guard, consulting him in his affairs,
As he consulted us concerning plans made for him.

6. He called us forward and we were the first to fight,
We supported him against those who opposed him.

7. May Allah reward with goodness Muhammad His prophet,
And support him with victory - for Allah is his supporter.
