4. I yearn for the people who endured

6. Women of distinction who the jealous refused

11. Protector of Islam and justice after him
Woe! Indeed ruin has befallen the people

12. Woe for Uthman the Imam of the rightly guided
When lightning flashes for one hoping it flashes a sword

13. Woe for his superior wisdom, resolve and clarity
And shelter for orphans in times of drought, who became emaciated and starved

As kohl darkens, he is the mother and father

15. He had pastures for the special night visitors
With their caravans the wretched ascetic comes to him

16. How strange is time, that it brought him
The like of what Uthman faced, is it not wondrous?

Grieving Uthman one day, and mourn him

23. And a blow, when the kindling stick missed at night
Until its tip wavered

24. Exhausted from long struggle, it weakened him
Against the pulley until his head today turned white

Disputes with him the weight of traits and is burdened

26. And whiteness of pasture he dislikes its greed
For the heights, the wretched spider-marked one

27. And the slain of Quraysh did not make me forget the cunning
Who carried their rage until the sun nearly set

28. Shrieking at dawn when the cock means to herald
Riding the lith worm he clambers astride

29. Leave this be, but the rope of a lover was tied
To one of the ravines of passion and murder, I leap

30. A battlefield you see its drizzles
With a lethal disease, their berries tremble

31. A she-camel, as if musk were beneath her garment
And the rose's perfume saddened it

Touched by a north wind, soft yet it is more fragrant

33. So the dawn took it when its suns sought help
From its shooting star's rising from Al-Qirr, it stumbled

34. Is it one of the daughters of Abs you mentioned, while below her
Saneeh, and from the sand of Al-Ba'uthah a slope

ุจูุดูููุจูุงุกู ุณูุงุฑููููุง ู
ููู ุงูููุฑูู ุฃูููููุจู
35. And Katma and Dowwar as if their homes
Were hidden but for the ponds and pools
ูฃูฅ. ุฃูุฅูุญูุฏูู ุจูููู ุนูุจูุณู ุฐูููุฑูุชู ูุฏููููููุง

ููู ุฑูู

36. And from where she kindled a fire from withering
Tilha, a stranger takes shelter and it gushes

37. He shelters with it the trailing train, as though it were
The pavilion of nomads with two ropes tied

38. Heading out vigorous like a Berber, and in the enclosure
Is the cunning of a fox in your ruins, made moist

39. The young morning breezes flow above its back
As two entwined snakes appeared in a perforated basket
