1. Do not leave me alone, my God, forlorn,
And help me, O You who is implored for help,

2. And aid me against a time that misfortune
In its night of worries pours forth sorrows.

3. Make patience a garden for me, though
Fate sought with its arrows events to launch.

4. For I am the helpless one who inherited poverty,
And poverty and wealth are an inheritance.

5. I pleaded with the Intercessor whom
In the Resurrection the people will seek from his bounty a revival.

6. I entrusted fidelity though the covenants
I contracted in fidelity with him have no tearing.

7. He is my treasure, and I am not disappointed in my supplication to him
When events scatter us.

8. Bless, O our Lord, bless him, a blessing
For which the heavens' duration would be too brief to contain.
