1. Distance yourself from the lowly worldly life
And do not seek anything but the grace of God

2. Have you not seen that long intimacy corrupts
Your temperament when the temperament is corrupted

3. Like a sea mixed with the torture of water
So its nature overcomes the nature of vitriol

4. And be patient with what you are tested with
For the disease is eased by the cure

5. And pray to God for how many pray
To Him in the evening of illnesses cured
