1. The ruins yearned for you in agony
Like clear writing on erased parchment

2. Time has marred them until they faded away
Months and days have passed as I stand guard

3. The misleading tyrant almost loses his way there
Confused with no honorable man to meet

4. A stable of horses and a resting camel
How can one find his way in this darkness?

5. Convey from me, Oh Quraysh chieftains
And do not confuse, for the truth never mixes

6. Do not neglect your rights and lose
A precious soul; God’s faith is supreme and dearer

7. Dawn has risen for the sleepless one, and eyes see
That almost strayed from the truth and closed

8. Return to the faith of the Prophet Muhammad
Seeker of God’s faith is wisest and freest

9. Do not hesitate to seek your Prophet
None hesitates but the whispering devil

10. Rally around him every stubborn unwilling one
Competing with him while the stallion brays

11. No fleeting worry should distract you
Beguiling the mind, frightening the meek soul

12. Are you pleased with a Lord silent of worshippers
A lifetime mute and deaf without praise?

13. The rock fragment that the stallion split his head upon
And lent him four senses but no breath

14. Those who passed without insight
Their end led them and many souls into fire

15. Come to the advice of the sincere advisor
Who came with shining truth that needs no veil

16. You have no scriptures of God's excuses
That a scholar or priest has read

17. God is not pleased that you worship His equal
No revelation came to you from God to study

18. Nor did the Moses people approve your faith
Nor the Jesus people who took the sun

19. Nor the Zoroastrians in Persia
Who see excuses for you when they look

20. None in the mortal world on earth are eternal
All must taste death and decay

21. All will be resurrected for God’s reckoning
Rewarded fully with no injustice

22. Some destined for hellfire
Stone worshippers found destitute

23. Others destined for eternal gardens
Wearing silk and brocade

24. My people, I have come to warn you
So hear my warning and do not hide

25. Whoever heeds my advice, his face will be
Clear of sin on Judgment Day

26. Whoever rejects my counsel will reluctantly meet death
And encounter the Angel of Death frowning
